Operation of ECDIS on inland waterways (IWW)

The program is intended for training of navigators on use of ECDIS performing the main and auxiliary navigation tasks. On the completion of the course the trainee should be able to react properly on malfunctioning of the navigation equipment, to analyze possible discrepancy of displayed data and reality, to reveal and eliminate the source of this discrepancy, to adjust and use warning system, to get knowledge of ECDIS operational limitations and other electronic chart systems.
