Refresher training of pilots

The main purpose of additional vocational training (improvement of professional skill) of sea pilots is maintenance of vocational training and qualification at the modern level, with the purpose of increase of safety of navigation of vessels and ensuring of sea and environmental protection. Periodic (once in five years) updating of practical skills and theoretical knowledge taking into account the continuous introduction of new sea technologies in fleet.
