Medical first aid on board ship

The given program is demanded by Rule VI/4 (Item 1) of STCW-78/95 Convention , it is designed for the vessel personnell appointed to provide the first medical aid on vessels. The basic purpose of training is obtaining the necessary skills by the course participants for making of immediate actions in case of an accident or other circumstances demanding urgent medical aid, before arrival of the person responsible for medical assistance on the vessel. Model IMO 1.14 course is the basis of the program. The program completely considers requirements of STCW International Code regarding performance of minimal requirements to competence of issues of the first medical aid rendering.
