"MARSTAR" training center since 1998 provides training and retraining of seamen according to national requirements, requirements of STCW-78/95 Code and SOLAS-74 Convention.

From the moment of establishing, the center became one of the largest centers of seamen retraining in the northwest region of russia.

Staff of "MARSTAR" consists of navigators and the radioexperts having wide experience of training who took direct participation in establishing of various training complexes.

Qualified teaching personnel of MARSTAR consisting of teachers-instructors having long-term operational experience on ocean vessels in positions of captains, senior pilots and persons of command staff allows conducting lessons under all set forth above programs in english. Many teachers have had training additional training in foreign marine educational institutions.

Now the "MARSTAR" realizes more than fifty curriculums for seamen. Long-term experience of teaching work of the MARSTAR personnel, rich theoretical knowledge, and also the flexible approach to carrying out of training allow in the shortest terms on demand of navigable and cruise companies to organize practically any kind of training, both for the private sailor, and for command staff.

The experience gained by our colleagues conducting case studies of collisions at sea, high quality technical and methodological support of the training center give us an opportunity for training and assessment of seamen of leading Russian shipping and crewing companies.

A qualified training staff of the Training Center consists of lecturers and instructors having a long-term operational experience at sea as masters, senior pilots and officers. Many of them have been additionally trained in foreign maritime educational institutions.
